About our library
St. Rose of Lima School Library seeks to foster both a collaborative and independent learning environment for it's students. A variety of resources are available for student use and a number of genres are explored in an effort to enhance students' overall appreciation of literature, increase reading and writing development and, above all, satisfy students inquisitive nature.
Under classmen
Your children love to read! Invite them to answer questions involving characters and setting after reading to them. You will be quite pleased at what they can relay!
Upper classmen
Children are invited and encouraged to read a multitude of genres to increase vocabulary, spelling, writing and public speaking skills.
St. Rose of Lima Library lends books to students grades K-6. Kindergarten students will be issued books at the mid-year mark, exact date depending upon readiness. Circulation of books for all grades typically begins the third week of classes.
